Granola Bars...

Dry Ingredients

    2 C rolled oats
    1/2 C nuts of your choice ie. walnuts, cashews, peanuts
    1/2 C seeds of your choice ie. sunflower, sesame
    1/2 C wheat germ
    3/4 C raisins

Wet Ingredients

    1/2 C peanut butter
    1/2 C pure maple syrup
    1/2 t salt
    2 t pure vanilla

Directions

  1. Combine dry ingredients in a mixing bowl.
  2. Combine wet ingredients in a sauce pan and heat on medium flame until smooth stirring constantly.
  3. Mix wet ingredients with dry.
  4. Preheat oven to 350°.
  5. Prepare 8" x 8" baking pan with canola cooking spray.
  6. Spread mixture into pan and press down firmly with hands or the bottom of a glass or jar.
  7. Bake 8 minutes turn pans and bake 8 more minutes.
  8. Remove from oven and cut into desired sized bars do not remove from pans until totally cool.
